Swim in the river

Didjeridu master Darryl Dikarrna Brown will teach and play the Gunbork repertoire for us. This is the traditional playing style of Central and Western Arnhem land. We will craft our own instrument from logs which have been cut and allowed to dry, which allows us to begin the work immediately. We will also see a White Cockatoo Aboriginal Corroboree with singing every night under the incredible southern stars. During our walks in the bush we will see a beautiful country and take part of the daily life of our friends who are traditional aboriginal people. We will get the chance to swim in the river and enjoy daily life at the outstation.

The costs of the vehicles, insurance, petrol, guides, fees etc in Australia will be shared by the group. If you live outside Australia and Darwin there will be an extra cost to get there. If you need any help with booking flights etc, please let me know. I can also help you with booking accomondation in Darwin.

This is not an organized tourist tour, which means that we all have to take care of our own private insurances. We are a group of friends with a deep interest in aboriginal culture. We want to share the cost of travelling together, in a way that allows us to meet these people and get to know a little about their remarkable culture through shared experiences. (Accomodation*) In the bush we sleep outdoors in swags and tents. It is very comfortable. Water, dry toilett and electricity is avaliable from a generator.
